On 26 February, 2018 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made 18,68 million EUR available for total of 2572 depositors via paying agent bank &#8222;Citadele&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>16 January, 2018<\/strong> the credit union <strong>&#8222;Centro taupomoji kasa&#8221;<\/strong> was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and has its license revoked. On 6 February, 2018 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made 10,56 million EUR available for total of 1000 depositors via paying agent bank UAB Medicinos bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10 November, 2017\u00a0<\/strong>the credit union\u00a0<strong>&#8222;Vilniaus kreditas&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and has its license revoked. On 28 November, 2017 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made 20,4 EUR available for total of 1247 depositors via paying agent bank &#8222;Citadele&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>25 September, 2017<\/strong>\u00a0the credit union \u201c<strong>Nam\u0173<\/strong>\u201d was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and has its license revoked. On 6 October, 2017 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made \u20ac1,09m available for total of 319 depositors via paying agent bank AB \u0160iauli\u0173 bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>25 September, 2017<\/strong>\u00a0the credit union \u201c<strong>Baltija<\/strong>\u201d was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and has its license revoked. On 6 October, 2017 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made \u20ac8,61m available for total of 967 depositors via paying agent bank AB \u0160iauli\u0173 bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>17 March, 2017<\/strong>\u00a0the credit union <strong>\u201cPaj\u016brio\u201d<\/strong> was declared insolvent bythe Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked. On 28 March, 2017 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made \u20ac2,15m available for total of 297 depositors via paying agent bank UAB Medicinos bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7 March, 2017<\/strong>\u00a0the credit union <strong>\u201c\u017demaitijos i\u017edas\u201d<\/strong> was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked. On 20 March, 2017 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made \u20ac1,63m available for total of 189 depositors via paying agent bank UAB Medicinos bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>20 September, 2016<\/strong>\u00a0the credit union<strong> \u201cAmber\u201d<\/strong> was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked. On 29 September, 2016 the Deposit Guarantee Scheme made \u20ac19,97m available for total of 989 depositors via paying agent bank UAB Medicinos bankas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>30 April, 2014<\/strong> the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>credit union<strong> \u201eNaftinink\u0173 investicijos\u201c <\/strong>was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>On 20 May the Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS)\u00a0made \u20ac11,8m available for a total of 220 depositors via paying agent bank &#8222;Citadele\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>17 January, 2014 <\/strong>the\u00a0credit union <strong>\u201eVilniaus taupomoji kasa\u201c <\/strong>was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>DGS made LTL 221,3m available for a total of 5 754 depositors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>9 May, 2013 <\/strong>the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>credit union <strong>&#8222;Laikinosios sostin\u0117s kreditas&#8221; <\/strong>was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked. DGS\u00a0made \u20ac22,8m available for a total of 612 depositors via paying agent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>18 February, 2013 UAB \u016akio bankas<\/strong> was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked. DIF participated in funding of the resolution process by transferring of assets and liabilities of the failed bank.<\/li>\n<li><strong>24 January, 2013 \u201cNational\u201d <\/strong>the\u00a0credit union was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked.<\/li>\n<li><strong>24 January, 2013 <\/strong>the\u00a0credit union<strong> &#8222;\u0160vyturio taupomoji kasa&#8221; <\/strong>was declared insolvent by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and had its license revoked.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2011, 24 November<\/strong> Bank of Lithuania withdrew<strong> AB Bankas SNORAS <\/strong>license. On December 14, 2011 DGS commenced disbursement of insurance compensations. By 31 July, 2012 DIF has made available a total of LTL 4,04bn in insurance compensations to the depositors of the failed bank. Over 210\u00a0000 depositors have claimed a total of LTL 3,98bn of insurance compensations by 31 December, 2012.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1999, 13 September <\/strong>activities of<strong> &#8222;Litimpeks&#8221; bank<\/strong> were suspended. The Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) processed customer data supplied by the &#8222;Litimpeks&#8221; bank, prepared lists of depositors and calculated insurance compensations. On 1 December a total of LTL 14.59m in deposit insurance compensations was made available for 4 665 depositors by opening current accounts in Lithuanian Agriculture Bank for the depositors of the failed bank.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1997, 8 July <\/strong>bankruptcy proceedings were initiated against<strong> &#8222;Tauras&#8221; bank<\/strong>.
