New member appointed to the Council of the Public Institution "Deposit and Investment Insurance"

As of March 12, 2025, Nijolė Valinskytė – Director of the Financial Stability Department of the Bank of Lithuania – has started working on the Council of the public institution „Deposit and Investment Insurance”. Nijolė Valinskytė will replace the former Council member Jokūbas Markevičius (Director of the Economics Department of the Bank of Lithuania).

With my experience and knowledge in the field of financial stability, I will contribute to decisions so that the system of protection of deposits and liabilities for investors operates sustainably and effectively” – shares Nijolė Valinskytė.
